Liverpool’s £50m-rated attacker admits it could be time to leave

There are STILL several moving parts to Liverpool’s summer transfer window. We have seen Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Giorgi Mamardashvili arrive for well over £250m combined but the Reds aren’t stopping there

Incredibly, Liverpool’s chase for Alexander Isak is still on. If they pull it off, it could be a British record deal — and a huge statement of intent from the club.

With so many forwards already in the squad, some big names are suddenly at risk. Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez are the two most under threat right now.

Diaz is pushing hard for a move to Bayern Munich, while Nunez is attracting strong interest from Saudi Arabia. Either exit would shake things up fast.

Elliott Weighing His Options as Competition Grows

The arrival of Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz only adds to the pressure. For Harvey Elliott, that could mean even fewer minutes going forward.

The England U21 star had a strong summer, helping his side win the UEFA Euro U21 title. But at Liverpool, he only made two Premier League starts last season.

Now, with Salah, Szoboszlai, and Wirtz all ahead of him, Elliott knows the road to game time is even more crowded than before.

Elliott has admitted he’s thinking about his future. Speaking to The Anfield Wrap, he said he might need to make a selfish decision for the sake of his career.

Hard Choices for a Liverpool Fan-Favourite

“If I had it my way, I’d stay here forever,” Elliott said. “I love everything about the club. But I need to think about myself too — I want to go to the World Cup.”

He explained that a lot of new players have come in, and it’s something he’ll need to review. Right now, his focus is on preseason and staying ready.

Elliott is currently with the Liverpool squad in Asia. But with interest from West Ham, Villa, Newcastle and Brighton, a £50m move can’t be ruled out.

The midfielder is still under contract until 2027 and already a two-time Premier League winner — but his next move could define his career.
